Dr. Neera Chhabra, MD, FAAP

I have been practicing general pediatrics in the Shreveport area for more than 25 years. I am of Indian origin and went to medical school at the Christian Medical College (an American mission institution) in Punjab, India. I did my Pediatric Internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital at University of Miami in Florida. I then moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee with my husband and completed my Pediatric Residency there. This was followed by 2 years of Ambulatory Pediatric Fellowship at Cleveland’s Case Western University.

I am Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, and I was re-certified in 1997 and 2009 and MOC Cerified in 2014.

I live with my husband, who is a practicing Cardiologist in Shreveport. We have two sons, one living in Washington, DC. with his wife, and the other living in California. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and cooking for friends and family.
